Egyptian goalkeeper Ahmed Mohamed, who plays for the under-17 team of Ras Al Khaimah club, has achieved remarkable numbers during his participation in the current season of the Juniors (B) League. He managed to keep a clean sheet in 10 out of 13 matches, which is an outstanding performance for youth-level tournaments that are often high-scoring.

He confirmed that he is seriously working on himself to achieve these goals. "My ambition is to play for big clubs, whether in the UAE with Shabab Al Ahli or Al Ain, or in Egypt with Al Ahli and Zamalek," Ahmed Mohamed told "Al Ittihad Al Youm" newspaper. "I hope to continue developing to represent the national teams; it's an important goal I set for myself and I work hard to achieve it."
He added: "I am happy to be one of the players of Ras Al Khaimah club currently and to defend its colors. I hope to give back to the club by winning the league championship this season, especially since the coaches and administrators have provided me and my teammates with everything a player needs."
Ahmed confirmed that he has benefited greatly from the ideal sports environment in the UAE, both during his previous time at Al Rams club and currently in Ras Al Khaimah, in addition to benefiting from his first experience in Egyptian clubs.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Juma Al Naqbi, the director of the under-17 team at Ras Al Khaimah club, told "Al Ittihad Al Youm": "We provide support and assistance to all players of the club, focusing on talented players in line with the plans and directives of the club's board of directors. We see in goalkeeper Ahmed Mohamed a promising future, and the results of the matches have revealed his clear distinction this season."
He added: "Goalkeeper Ahmed and a number of his teammates are undergoing a sustainable follow-up program inside and outside the club, which includes technical and community aspects. We strive to overcome all difficulties for them and wish them a distinguished sports career."
